It comes in gift-ready packaging, so there's no wrapping needed. Each resealable pouch is a dry, concentrated sauce base that makes enough sauce for 1 lb of pasta (4–6 servings). Just add butter or olive oil and starchy pasta water for a freshly emulsified, scratch-quality sauce in minutes, with dinner on the table in about 15 minutes. Pasta is not included.

How to make it
Cacio e Pepe and Miso Butter
- Cook pasta al dente and save 1 cups of pasta water.
- In a pan over medium heat, add 5 tbsp butter and ½-1 cup of pasta water, then whisk in the sauce starter. Add more pasta water for a thinner sauce.
- Toss in the cooked pasta with a pat of butter for extra gloss. Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan.
Aglio e Olio
- Cook pasta al dente and save ½ cup of pasta water.
- In a pan over medium heat, add ½ cup olive oil, the cooked pasta and the sauce starter. Sauté for 30 seconds (don't let the garlic burn), then add ½ cup of pasta water.
- Toss and finish with a drizzle of olive oil for extra gloss.
